Baked Broccoli Cheese Balls

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions:
Step 1: Steam and Chop the Broccoli
Begin by steaming the broccoli until tender, then finely chop the florets. Remove excess moisture by gently squeezing with a paper towel.

Step 2: Combine All Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the chopped broccoli, cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, Parmesan, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and beaten egg. Mix until well combined.

Step 3: Form Balls and Bake
Shape the mixture into small balls (1 to 1.5 inches in diameter) and place them on a lined baking sheet. Bake at 375°F for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
