Cheesy Garlic Butter Mushroom Stuffed Chicken

A deliciously creamy mushroom and cheese filling inside tender chicken breasts, baked to perfection with a golden, cheesy crust! This dish is perfect for a special dinner or a weeknight treat!

🍽️ Ingredients:

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup mushrooms, finely chopped
  • ½ cup cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and chopped mushrooms, cooking until softened and fragrant.
  3. Stir in cream cheese, mozzarella, thyme, parsley, and season with salt and pepper. Cook until smooth and creamy.
  4. Carefully slice pockets into each chicken breast and stuff with the mushroom mixture.
  5. Place chicken in a baking dish, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, and bake for 25–30 minutes until chicken is cooked through.
  6. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
