Ingredients:
- 3 lb chuck roast
- 1 lb potatoes, chopped
- 4 carrots, chopped
- 2 onions, quartered
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
- Season the roast with salt and pepper. Sear on all sides in a hot skillet.
- Place roast in a slow cooker. Add potatoes, carrots, onions, garlic, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and thyme.
- Cook on low for 8 hours or until the meat is tender.
