Ingredients:
For the Chicken Wings:
2 lbs chicken wings
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
For the Creamy Garlic Parmesan Sauce:
4 tablespoons unsalted butter
5-6 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt and pepper to taste
Chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)
Instructions:
Step 1: Prepare and Season the Chicken Wings
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or prepare a deep fryer if you prefer frying.
Pat the chicken wings dry with a paper towel to help them crisp up.
In a large bowl, toss the wings with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika until well-coated.
Step 2: Cook the Chicken Wings
Oven Method: Place the wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or a wire rack. Bake for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway, until they’re golden brown and crispy.
Fryer Method: Fry the wings in batches at 350°F (175°C) for about 8-10 minutes or until golden and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
Step 3: Prepare the Garlic Parmesan Sauce
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Add the heavy cream, stirring occasionally, and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer. Let it cook for 3-4 minutes until it begins to thicken.
Stir in the Parmesan cheese and Italian seasoning. Season with salt and pepper to taste, then cook until the sauce is smooth and creamy.
