Savory Garlic Mushrooms and Cauliflower Sauté
Ingredients:
1 head of cauliflower, cut into florets
8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
3 tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon dried thyme
Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Directions:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the cauliflower florets and sauté for about 5-7 minutes, or until they start to become tender and golden brown.
Stir in the sliced mushrooms and continue to cook for another 5 minutes, allowing the mushrooms to release their moisture and become tender.
Add the minced garlic and dried thyme to the skillet, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until the garlic is fragrant.
Season with salt and pepper to taste, and stir well to combine all the ingredients.
Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
