Ingredients

  1. 2 cups all-purpose flour
  2. 1 teaspoon baking powder
  3. 1 teaspoon salt
  4. 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  5. 1 cup granulated sugar
  6. 1 cup whole milk, at room temperature
  7. 2 large eggs
  8. 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease two 9-inch round cake pans.
  2. Mix dry ingredients (flour, baking powder, salt, cocoa powder).
  3. Mix wet ingredients (sugar, milk, eggs, vanilla extract).
